Rumer WillisWage Gap Battle Bigger ProblemThan Wahlberg, Williams 1/11/2018 7:00 AM PST EXCLUSIVE
Rumer Willis isn't exactly giving Mark Wahlberg a pass in the wage gap battle, but she thinks everyone's missing the point by making this about his payday.
Rumer and a friend were shopping Rodeo in Bev Hills Wednesday when she weighed in on the issue that has Hollywood and America pissed off ... Mark getting $1.5 million, compared to Michelle Williams getting less than $1,000 for "All the Money in the World" reshoots.
It's worth noting ... Rumer's mom, Demi Moore, was one of the first women to earn an 8-figure paycheck for a single movie, so ya gotta think she's been schooled on wage disparity in Hollywood.
Her take? Back off Wahlberg ... attack the system!

Don't Sweat Oscar Academy Snub
... Kobe Will Get In!!
6/22/2018 12:10 PM PDT
Kobe Bryant's ex-teammate is going to bat for the future NBA Hall of Famer ... with Matt Barnes telling TMZ Sports Kobe will end up in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences someway, somehow.
Remember, Bryant was just denied entry into the exclusive club, despite winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Short for "Dear Basketball."
Barnes was at an Athletes vs. Cancer event at Skybar on Thursday where he told us Kobe's bounced back from far worse Ls in his career ... and he expects to see the same thing with the Academy membership.
"They're gonna make it tough on him, but I know he's a hard worker," Barnes told us ... "One way or another, he'll end up in there."
For the record ... Kobe did win two NBA championships AFTER losing two (he finished with five rings total) ... so, sounds like Barnes might be on to something here.

The Fall of Harvey Weinstein
Perhaps the biggest story of the year, the repercussions of which are ongoing, is the floodgate of sexual misconduct allegations opened against super-producer Harvey Weinstein in the wake of a New York Times interview with Ashley Judd. Dozens of other women came forward with their own horror stories dating back decades, leading to Weinstein’s instant disgrace and dismissal from the Weinstein Company. And Weinstein, it turned out, was only the tip of an unpleasant iceberg, with copious allegations against other high profile Hollywood men following: Brett Ratner, Louis CK and Kevin Spacey among them. The effects of the #MeToo hashtag were seismic.

A knock-on effect of the above, director Ridley Scott took the extraordinary measure of scrambling to re-shoot every scene already completed with Kevin Spacey in his upcoming drama. Spacey’s entire performance as billionaire industrialist Jean P..

Tonya Harding & Tommy WiseauBlend In at the Golden Globes 1/8/2018 8:48 AM PST
Tonya Harding and director Tommy Wiseau walk into a Golden Globes party ... nope, not the start of a one-liner, but something that actually happened.
The duo took this pic at a party Sunday, after the award show where both were thanked by actors who portrayed them in movies about their lives.
James Franco invited Tommy onstage after winning best actor in a comedy for his role in "The Disaster Artist" ... a movie based on Tommy making "The Room" -- largely considered the best worst movie ever made.
Kinda funny ... Tommy tried grabbing the mic as James started his thank-you speech.

Jeff BridgesMy Home Next to Oprah's Wrecked By Mudslide 1/11/2018 2:48 PM PST EXCLUSIVE
Now we know to whom Oprah was referring on video when she pointed to a neighbor's home that was decimated by the mudslides ... it was the home of actor Jeff Bridges.
The star of "The Big Lebowski" bought the home 3 years ago for $6.8 million. We're told the house could be a total loss, but it's impossible to know at this point because the debris makes the extent of damage almost impossible to assess. Bridges says at the very least, the 3,300 square foot home was "severely damaged."
Our home has been severely damaged, but we are safe, and so thankful for that and for the first responders who are working tirelessly to save people. We are heartbroken over the loss of lives in our community. Your prayers and best wishes are most appreciated.
