It’s mind-boggling to think some celebrities could seriously pass as siblings or relatives due to their similar facial features. Joining that look-alikes list happens to be “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” star Toya Wright and legendary actor Danny Glover.
Wright, 36, shared a photo of herself and “The Color Purple” actor, 72, to her Instagram page Tuesday evening after attending the Clearence Nero’s 6th Annual Youth Literary & Art Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The purpose of the conference was to promote literacy and education to south Louisiana high school students. It also provided them with information for college admission. The July 2 event featured a master class and empowerment breakout session, and featured Glover and Wright as guest speakers.
The reality star, who happens to be a Louisiana native, seemed extremely excited to be in Glover’s presence, writing in her caption, “Surrounded by greatness.💜 #legend.”
Wright leaned in next to the “Lethal Weapon” star with a huge smile on her face as Glover did the same. Her post received over 50,000 likes and several comments from fans who claimed how they oddly resembled each other.
“Legend play in the color purple. Danny glover!!!❤ but why does it look ke could be your dad? 🧐 ya’ll have the same smile.”
“He looks good for his age! 🙌🏾 looks like he could be your dad strong face features.”
“Wow y’ all really look alike he looks like he could be your father.”
“Shouts to Danny Glover!! an icon. You could be his daughter 😮.”
Speaking of daughters, Wright’s eldest,Reginae Carter, recently appeared on the small screen last month in Lifetime film “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta.” She’s apparently managing to make a name for herself in the entertainment space outside of Wright and her father Lil Wayne‘s superstardom.
She starred alongside veteran actors Jackée Harry, Tiffany Hines, Juan Antonio, and more, describing the feeling of her first major acting gig as “indescribable.”
“The joy I feel right now is indescribable ❤️!” Carter announced via Instagram in November. “I just wrapped my first ever movie and I feel amazing ! Thank you to all my cast and directors! … Thanks to everyone behind the scenes that helped us in every way. This is only the beginning #prideandprejudiceatlanta #IssaWrap.”
The film is an all-Black contemporary version of “Pride and Prejudice,” the 19th century British novel by Jane Austen. It centers on an author of a self-help book who’s determined to find eligible mates for her five single daughters.
