American Cruise Lines has unveiled the name of its fourth new ship.
The American Melody joins the ACL fleet in late 2020 and is being built at Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, MD.
It comes just as the American Harmony joins the fleet and begins sailing the Mississippi later this week.
"The American Melody will showcase all the styling and state-of-the-art technical features synonymous with American's groundbreaking series," the company said in a release.
Like American Song, American Harmony, and American Jazz, Melody will feature the unique opening bow and retractable gangway.
American Jazz is also scheduled to join the fleet next year.
A fifth modern riverboat is also planned but few details have been released yet.
