Carnival Cruise Line says Carnival Vista will resume sailing ahead of schedule after propulsion system repairs.
Citing 'extremely smooth' repair work, Vista will return on July 23 with a special four-day sailing to Mexico from Galveston, with tickets available now.
It will then restart seven-day sailings to the Caribbean from Galveston on July 27.
Carnival initially said repairs would take two weeks.
The ship had to cancel three planned sailings earlier this month after propulsion problems affected previous cruises.
Repairs were carried out on a first-of-its-kind floating dry dock at sea, and is finishing off repairs to the azipod propulsion system at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport.
It is on target to complete the job almost five days ahead of schedule, Carnival said.
