The world’s two most famous redheads have teamed up for a cheeky World Mental Health Day video.

Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran appeared in a video posted on Instagram showing them meeting at the front door of a London home.

In the clip, Shape of You singer Sheeran arrives at what appears to be the entrance to Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace, where Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank live, and presses the doorbell, The Sun reports.

To the delight of many fans, a God Save the Queen tune plays, before the Duke of Sussex opens the door to greet him.

After saying hi to each other and shaking hands, Sheeran asks Harry if he minds if the camera is brought into his home.

Harry replies “Not at all” and the pair then head inside together.

The Duke of Sussex replies: “Hey mate, nice to see you”. He then adds: “It’s like looking in the mirror.”

Ed then asks if Harry minds if he brings in a camera crew into the property, which it was later confirmed was not the royals home of Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The clip was part of a campaign for World Mental Health Day, which is on Thursday October 10.

The three-minute video — believed to be the first time senior royals have appeared in an advert — directs viewers to the Every Mind Matters website for tips on coping with life’s ups and downs.

The four royals narrate the film, but each recorded their voiceovers on different days due to diary clashes, according to sources.

Sheeran is arguably the world’s most popular singer, after his record breaking tour which sold more than 1 million tickets in Australia last year.

The Shape Of You singer now also has his own museum in Ipswich, UK, which was set up with donations that his father had kept from his childhood.

It was expected that the red-haired duo will make further announcements for the campaign.

The famous partnership comes after Prince Harry narrated a three-minute clip that took over British television earlier this week.

The clip also featured his wife, Meghan, 38, and Prince William and Kate, both 37, that was watched by more than 10 million viewers when it was aired simultaneously across nearly all British TV stations, except for the BBC.

Prince Harry is a passionate advocate for speaking about mental health, and earlier this week starred in an NHS campaign and advert alongside Prince William, his wife Kate and Harry’s wife, Meghan.

Harry has just returned from a successful tour of Africa where he highlighted mental health charities and the work they do.

He also campaigned for women’s rights in Nyanga, the murder capital of Cape Town.

Prince Harry has long been a campaigner to end the stigma surrounding mental health.

He and William set up the Heads Together charity, which Kate also supports.

The charity was set up through The Royal Foundation, the former partnership between William and Harry that they set up in 2009.

However, Harry and Meghan this year have decided to separate out their own charity.

Harry said at a previous World Mental Health Day speech: “It’s not rocket science, but most of us don’t know what to do if a friend or family member is suffering.

“Having some basic knowledge, and having the confidence to act on your knowledge, can make a huge difference to those around us.

“Too often we think mental health problems are things that happen to other people, not us.

“But we will all experience pressure on our mental health at some point during our lives.

“The more we accept that, the better we can help each other. Catching it and recognising it early, saves lives.”
