The black-and-white visuals, which was directed by Amber, finds the duo roaming around Seoul at night and performing sensual choreography.
f(x)'s Amber and Luna have released track "Fierce" for SM Station project along with its music video. The three-and-a-half-minute track is a follow-up to their previous collaborative track "Heartbeat", which was released back in October 2016. The song also marks the first SM Station project of the new year.
The music video, which was directed by Amber, features the pair roaming around Seoul at night. They are also seen performing sensual choreography while singing about searching for a place where they can be free. "The door that calls to me/ There's freedom beyond it," they sing over the sultry beats. "Where the white moon falls/ That's where you are asleep."
It didn't take too long for fans to gush over the clip, praising how gorgeous they look in the clip. Some fans were also hoping for them to release an album together as a sub-unit of their group. "Omg I wish the two of them would become a sub-duo of f(x) and drop a hella lit album," a fan wrote. "I love them together, and wanna see more of the two."
Following the release of the music video, the girl group members held a live broadcast on V Live to share behind-the-scenes stories from their music video set. "Amber produced the music video. I suffered a lot. If you look at the music video, my lips weren't moving a lot because they were frozen," Luna shared, to which Amber responded, "I filmed it well, but the wind blew and it was really cold every time Luna filmed."
"It's not fancy, but the point is its sophistication. f(x)'s music videos are very fancy, but 'Lower' has different color," Luna said of the visuals. "It has Amber's colors. As someone who participated in [the music video], I am very proud. It's very high quality."
