The launch of Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection has once again been delayed.
Delays at the Hijos de J. Barreras shipyard in Vigo, Spain means the debut of the Evrima is pushed back to April 2021.
After originally planning to launch in early 2020 it was delayed to June this year.
The shareholders of the shipyard agreed to pass control to Cruise Yacht Yard Co Ltd, which is affiliated to Evrima's owner, Cruise Yacht 1 Ltd.
The inaugural sailing will now depart on April 22 2021 out of Lisbon to Mallorca, Spain.
Booked customers can claim a refund or reschedule their sailing, and travel advisors' commissions will be protected.
"We sincerely apologize to all guests who were ready to sail with us," said Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection CEO Douglas Prothero.
The Hijos de J. Barreras shipyard has experienced a number of operational problems and delays over the past year, which has reportedly led to the ship going more than $50 million over budget.
