The Body Coach Joe Wicks demonstrates simple 15 minute workout to try at home

Joe Wicks, famously known as The Body Coach, is an English fitness coach, TV presenter and author.

The dad-of-two, 33, occasionally shares short intense HIIT workouts for his 3.1 million Instagram followers to try.

Now that we’re all pretty much indoors, the fitness guru has demonstrated a simple 15 minute workout you could try at anytime.

If you’ve got a dumbbell lying around your house, pick it up and get ready for Joe’s Instagram workout.

Posting yesterday, he said: “Got a dumbbell at home? Try this 15 minute workout. 30 seconds on each move with a 30 seconds rest x 3 rounds. Tag your workout buddy’s.”

First Joe did the overhead press which is typically performed while standing in which a weight is pressed straight upwards from a racking position until the arms are locked out overhead.

The second move, the fitness mastermind completed a dumbbell squat, which is demonstrated the same way as a regular squat.

Then the next workout in Joe’s sequence were the lunges which target the quads, glutes and hamstrings.

Once you’ve had your 30 seconds rest, Joe quickly turns to complete the clean and jerk which hits all the muscles in the legs and shoulders.

And finally, the last move of the workout is the dumbbell deadlift, which again is a technique to burn your legs.

So, if you’ve managed completing that once, rest for 30 seconds then go again for another two rounds.

Since he shared the workout, it secured over 350,000 views, with one writing: “This is a great.”

Another commented: “Fab Joe! Was just thinking I needed more upper body toning.”
